Elevator.
Why is it that strangers have this strange urge to talk to you when you’re with them in an elevator? I’m trying to look as uninterested in conversation as I possibly can, with my arms crossed, staring on the wall in front of me. Still, for some reason, people just got to talk to me when I’m with them in the elevator. It’s not like this is a something that is torturing me, of course I’m exaggerating, I just can’t understand why people get this need to bond in a confined space.
I think I’ll start to pretend I’m sleeping on the floor.

this one\’s easy. people talk in elevators because they are nervous. being close to strangers is a stressful situation.

That you just can’t shut the hell up when you’re in an elevator?
