You probably have to tilt your head. Don’t ask me to explain this one.

You probably have to tilt your head. Don’t ask me to explain this one.

I’m tired.

After a couple of hours on the KLM morning flight from Oslo to Amsterdam, and a near mid-air collition, we’re now ready to continue our journey in this little baby below.
This is the second time I fly a 747-400, and being the airplane nerd I am, I’m quite exited about it.
It looks like there is someting wrong with the sidebar calendar, can someone please fix it while I’m gone? No? You lazy bastards, you.

So here I am, then, on my way to a continent I’ve only before experienced on the idiot box. It’s going to be a long flight, first from Oslo to Amsterdam, then from there all the way to Hong Kong. I’m not sure exactly how many hours the Hong Kong flight is, but it’s taking off at 16:45 CET and touching down again 10:30 or someting Hong Kong time, which is GMT+8. If you want to, feel free to calculate the flight time.
I will, of course, keep you updated on my Asian adventures. Like it or not. I’m already looking forward to getting home again, though.
Or maybe it was Japan. I don’t think the Simpsons ever went to China. They went to Japan. I’m the one who is going to China. I’m leaving this Friday and I’m away until the 19th of December. Not sure how good the internet access is, my experience so far is that the connections to and from the country is rather crappy, peaking at about 50KBps with an average of 500 bytes or so per second. I don’t think I have any GPRS roaming there either, so don’t expect that many updates while I’m gone.
I will be bringing my camera, though, so hopefully I’ll have some pictures to show you when I get home. Gotta see the Wall and the Hong Kong skyline while I’m there, of course.
Could be fun.
