And a bottle of Rum

So… I went to the movies yesterday and saw the Norwegian movie ‘Kvinnen i mitt liv’. It was better than Buddy, but it’s certainly not a movie I’ll see twice. Maybe if someone pay me money to do it. A movie a I’ll probably see twice is Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, which I saw last week. It turned out to be a very good movie, a surprise really, since whatever comes out of the Walt Disney Pictures cave usually suck big time - with the exception of their cartoons, of course. Johnny Depp is great as Captain Jack Sparrow and Keira Knightley is…eh…charming as Elizabeth, the governor’s daughter. And it’s not pr0n, even though it might sound like it. Even so, it’s certainly worth a look.

I actually bought a gadget yesterday, not any of the ones I mentioned but a wireless ADSL router. Not because it’s a cool thing to have, but because I need it. On Monday, someone will hopefully come and set up an Internet connection in our apartment - oh joy. Of course there are no network cables or outlets in the apartment, and I don’t want to pay some bozo to lay the cables, neither do I want to do it myself, so decided to buy a wireless router instead. The good thing is that I can take it with me when I eventually move somewhere else.
