At the Movies

Yesterday I finally got around to Garden State. It was quite good, not as good as I’d expected of course, but well worth the money, and a movie I guess I can see more than once if I get the opportunity to do so. I didn’t think I’d ever say this about a movie, but it was cosy. The mood of the whole thing is just cosy. Strange. Am I getting soft? A lot of wide shots, an excellent soundtrack and some great acting by Natalie Portman makes this a movie you should see. I recommend taking a potential boyfriend or girlfriend on the second or third date.
