Once Upon a Time

Since its inception, this site has a changed a lot. Features have been added, and then removed. That’s why you’ll find links to pages that no longer exist. It’s unfortunate, and in hindsight, it would have been much better to keep the now-obsolete content in some sort of archive, than to deleted them. I was young and stupid, and for that I’m sorry. Not so much for your sake, but rather for my own, to be honest.

The cast page is a good example. When this website was in its infancy, I used to maintain a page that contained a snippet of information about the people I frequently wrote about. Friends, acquaintances, and then-girlfriends. The page was removed a long, long time ago, but there are a lot of links to it scattered around. Instead of re-writing history, and having to fix every broken link, I made this page to let you know what you were supposed to be looking at.

I’ve tried to find the cast page in one of my many old backups, but I haven’t managed to dig it up. The same goes for features like the gallery (but you’ll still find a lot of pictures scattered around), parts of the features section, the moblog (sort of replaced by A Picture A Day), the text ads, the 10,000 days calculator, the guestbook (but please feel free to contact me), the mood-o-meter, and the webcam.

They once were, but they are no more.

Instead of getting stuck in this black hole, why don’t you head to the front page, or the archives?

Caution

It looks like you're using Google's Chrome browser, which records everything you do on the internet. Personally identifiable and sensitive information about you is then sold to the highest bidder, making you a part of surveillance capitalism.

The Contra Chrome comic explains why this is bad, and why you should use another browser.
