Farewell, Philips

Yesterday was a sad day. My trusty, old twenty five inch Philips TV broke down. When I turned it on, the image was extremely fuzzy and everything that was supposed to be yellow, for instance the menu on the Kill Bill Volume 1 DVD, had turned red. Conclusion: One of the photon cannons inside had probably taken a permanent vacation. Now I’m looking for a used TV, about the same size, the only thing that has to work is the screen, and it has to have a SCART input. If you have one for sale, let me know.

Why not buy a new thirty two inch wide screen television set while I’m at it? Well, to get a good wide screen TV, you have to pay a rather large amount of money. If you add just a little more to that sum, you get a decent projector. So, basically, the next time I’m going to buy something like this, it’ll most likely be a projector. I’ve got no need for that where I live now, I’ve got no good walls to point it at. So I’ll get a crappy twenty five inch TV instead. Anyone?
