Gloria In Flames

I was in the middle of writing an entry yesterday when Hans Olav got back home with Monica and since I’d planned to join them in the park to drink wine and eat shrimps, the entry was postponed until today. You can probably live with that because you’ve been outside enjoying the beautiful weather anyway. At least if you reside in Oslo, you should’ve enjoyed the sun this weekend. All you need is a laptop and a wireless connection. Or maybe you should step out of wireless coverage for a while, it can be quite a shock, though.

On Friday I went out with Merete and some of her friends, which was nice because I don’t see her too often. We went to Gloria Flames, a place a lot of people has recommended, but I found it less entertaining. Not sure why, could be because that they played shitty music. If you’re going to play loud music, be sure to play something I like, damn it!

I took some pictures in the park yesterday, but I haven’t had the chance to look at them yet because I had a full working day today. I was hoping to be able to take a week off the last week of June, but that’s not going to happen. As it is now, I’ll probably have to wait until the second week of August to get any summer vacation.

Still, life is good, and now I probably won’t wake up at five in the morning because the sun is shining in my eyes: I finally got around to buy some curtains.
