Hurray, it’s a torpedo!

I went to a great concert yesterday. Hurra Torpedo is three somewhat mentally ill Norwegians pretending to be a bad combination of Swedes and Finns, playing all kinds of undefined rock music and cover a few classics, like “Total Eclipse of the Heart” and T.A.T.U.’s “All the Things She Said” with great success. What makes Hurra Torpedo special is their original use of white goods, such as refrigerators, washers, dryers and freezers on stage. Have you ever tried playing a whole concert banging the lid of a freezer as a bass drum? Neither have I, but it looks rather exhausting.

If you had some troubles with the Internet yesterday, like slow downloads, sites not responding or something like that, then the MS SQL Server Worm Wreaking Havoc was probably the reason. Looks like things are almost back to normal now. The people who start these attacks, what do they get out of it? I don’t know, but I would sure like to know. I suggest that they should go play in traffic. And yay for the 22.000 system administrators who hadn’t applied the security patch that had been available for over six months.

Before I went out, I took about half an hour of my precious time to convert all the pictures rating data from the old site to the new one.
