Leisure Suit Larry

The name might mean nothing to you. If that’s the case, you’ve missed out on the making of video game history. Of course, video game history might interest you right up there with watching paint dry, but let’s not forget that the video games overtook movies in terms of revenue many years ago. It’s big business and Leisure Suit Larry was one of the characters that helped turn video games into what it is today.

Legendary game designer and programmer Al Lowe - also involved in other Sierra Online titles from way back then, like King’s Quest III and Police Quest I - has decided that it’s about time to cash in on Larry Laffer once again. With the help of Reply Games he is now remaking the first Leisure Suit Larry adventure, Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards, (again) with updated graphics, music and even possibly update humor! Let’s hope not.

Playing a Leisure Suit Larry again could of course be a bad idea since trying to re-create a good childhood memory often is, but I’ve still decided to throw a little money at the Kickstarter pledge.
