Migration

I’ve been playing around with WordPress the last couple of days, and it looks like it’s all I need. Almost. Its extensive plugin and theme support enables me to make it look and behave pretty much the way I want, which is nice. The challenge will probably be to

  1. Convert all my old entries and cram them into the WordPress database.
  2. Get the Moblog up and running.
  3. Make posting from my mobile phone possible.

I don’t need 2. and 3. right away, but both are nice features and very handy when I’m on the move. At the moment, my WordPress setup looks like this.

The weekend was pretty slow. On Friday Karine and Helene had their birthday party in our apartment and on Saturday I met with Janne and Marita. Sunday I spent with The Girl. While we’re talking about The Girl, I should probably mention that it’s The Girlfriend now, not just The Girl.

Good times.

BitTorrent is a nice thing when you’re on a phat pipe, but it’s a real pain in the ass when you’re on a pretty poor broadband line you have to share with a bunch of other people and one of those people is using BitTorrent pretty extensively. So could the one who is eating all our bandwidth please cap the upload and download ratio in his client? You know who you are. I doubt that you read this, but still… Thank you.
