People That Should Die

You might have noticed that there hasn’t been much mentioning of Gine (a.k.a. The Girlfriend) lately. Considering that I haven’t posted much, there hasn’t been much mentioning of anything, really, but the few entries posted have not mentioned her.

The reason for this is that she’s been on a journey. Not to find her true self or anything like that, rather she’s been traveling around Australia, of all places, for over a month. Tomorrow she returns and, boy, am I looking forward to it.

This is an interesting observation of my emotional life. When I was with The Ex-Girlfriend we saw each other every month or so because she lived in a city up North and I lived closer to civilization. When we met, it felt very routine like, an everyday event, it was not the same “yay”-thing that getting Gine back home is - even if the time we’ve been apart is exactly the same.

This is a very good sign in terms of where the relationship is heading, at least from my point of view.

I analyze everything, but only on a rational level. Search through the archives and you’ll discover that that’s the lie of the century, but at least it’s my goal to analyze things on a rational level. It makes life so much more easy to handle.

And now, for something completely different: The reason for the rather morbid heading of this entry. The greatest comedians who have walked the Earth to date is Bill Hicks and George Carlin. At least that’s where I stand. The former is dead, the latter might drop dead any minute by the looks of it, so enjoy him while you can. This is George Carlin and the first 10 minutes of his “People That Should Die”. Have fun. Note that it’s really not his best work. Maybe I’ll dig up something better for you later.
