Picturesque Challenge

My A Picture a Day challenge is progressing steadily, not surprisingly, one day at the time. It’s only been 10 days, and I’ve had to resort posting pictures of what you’ve already grown tired of on Facebook and Instagram:

  1. A sunset.
  2. Food.
  3. My computer screen. Twice.

I did expect it to be hard to take a semi-interesting picture every day, but it has turned out more challenging than I feared. One good thing has come out of this, though, I’ve got to use the Galaxy Camera quite a lot and so far I have to say that I’m very pleased with it. It’s great to have a camera than can run Android applications. I’ve also been working with the creators of my favourite Android photography application, Vignette, to enable support for the camera’s optical zoom. It’s working in the test build now, so I wouldn’t be too surprised if it’s available in the next release.

Anyway. My hunt for a picture every day continues, but you should probably expect more sunsets, food and computer screens.
