Just to let you know that I’m still alive. After a few days in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, I’m now in Beijing. I’ve got no GPRS roaming here and my internet connection is limited to a rather expensive (probably) 28.8 modem connect in my hotel room.

It looks like you're using Google's Chrome browser, which records everything you do on the internet. Personally identifiable and sensitive information about you is then sold to the highest bidder, making you a part of surveillance capitalism.
