Prepare

This weekend is quite the Formula 1 weekend. Not only is a new race coming up in the race calendar, this time in Singapore - let’s forget for a second that last year’s Singapore race was without a doubt the season’s most boring - but the F1 2010 computer game is also being released.

As you know, I’m an avid Formula 1, and this year I’ve only missed a single race. After looking at some videos posted by game’s creators, Codemasters, I’m most definitely buying F1 2010 for my PS3. Codemasters alone should be good enough reason to buy the game for every F1 fan with a PC, PS3 or an XBOX 360. They have created great games like the Colin McRae and DiRT series, but the videos really put me over the edge. F1 2010 looks absolutely stunning.

I will of course play as Lewis Hamilton. That way it feels good every time I crash.

There is one small problem, however. This morning I realized that Civilization V is also released this weekend. Actually, it’s already available in the US, but won’t be in Europe until Friday. That means two great games are coming plunging down at the same time. And CIV V even has a special edition. I’m a sucker for special editions. Damn.

These are the kinds of problems I have. I live a good life.
