Show Me the Money!

A while back someone suggested that I should get some adds on the site. I didn’t think much of it at the time, but eventually I decided to go for it. Google text ads don’t really bother anyone, they are relatively discreet, semi-relevant to the content of the page and I’d say accepted as advertising. They sure as hell don’t play songs when you accidently drag the mouse pointer over them.

Now for the question of money. Do I think I’ll ever get a payment from Google? Not really, because does anyone actually click on adds? I, for one, don’t and according to the agreement that Google made me sign, I’m not even allowed to click on the ads on my own site.

You, on the other hand, should click text adds until your index fingers hurt and I get so much money from Google I can quit my job and become a full time blogger/lazy bum. Right now there are no adds being displayed on most of the pages, the reason is probably that the AdSense crawlers haven’t visited the site yet.

While we wait for them to come over, what about clicking some of the adds that are already here? That sounds like an excellent idea to me.
