My Saturday date plan was moved to Sunday, so I spent yesterday evening at home. I thought that not doing anything on a Saturday, as a change from drinking beer - something I’ve done the last few weekends - would be relaxing and nice. Boy, was I wrong. It was boring, oh, so boring. I ended up going to bed at half past eleven, and didn’t get up until one in the afternoon today. It seems I’ve got some catching up to do when it comes to sleep, because I’m tired again now.

My Sunday date plan - which was the one from Saturday - got cancelled. The girl I was going out with had been out drinking on Saturday night, and had apparently strained her leg doing it, so she decided to stay home. Allrightythen… It’s right up there with “I have to wash my cat” or “I have to change the water in my fish tank” or maybe even “my apartment is on fire”. Oh, I’m just messing with you. I’ve got the impression that she’s the kind of girl that would just tell you straight out if there was something she didn’t want to do, instead of coming up with lame excuses. Either way, it’s a bit of a kick in the nuts that this is just dragging out, because so far she’s been very nice. But, looking at the history books, that doesn’t necessarily have to mean anything.

Anyway, we’re supposed to try again later this week when she comes home from her four-days-on, seven-days-off rotation at work. To be honest, I’m not really sure if that’ll happen, but I’m felling I’m about to fall into the I-really-don’t-give-a-flying-fuck mode anyway. So it might not matter much if it happens or not.

All right, enough about that.

I’m starting to get into a very nice pattern where I jog every other day. And the best thing is that I’m running further and further. I’m also doing situps and pushups every day, and I’ve been doing that since the middle of November, I think, and the numbers are increasing. Good stuff. The problem is that I’m not gaining any weight, which was the initial plan. I’m rather losing some, and, to be honest, I’m not the kind of person who should really lose any weight. So, I guess I have to continue training, but eat more, or at least different food. Any suggestions?
